This all starts with our greatest asset...our employees.What You Will Be Doing:As a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician, you will be performing preventive maintenance on various types of customer/rental machines as per machine guidelines in a safe and timely manner on customer job sites.Primary Responsibilities:Drive to customer's job site daily to complete preventive maintenance.Operate heavy equipment to determine deficiency's or performance issues daily.Perform all necessary preventive maintenance work for each specific interval service.Complete all work orders, time sheets & inspections from completed services.Operate service truck safely and comply with all regulations.Must be able to obtain a CDL license if requiredAdditional Responsibilities:Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.Additional duties as assigned by manager.Who We Are Looking For:To be successful in this position you should have a strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of tools applicable to the position and the desire to learn. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.Education/Experience:High school diploma or equivalentRequired Qualifications/Skills:Must have a mechanical background with 2 to 3 years of experience with heavy equipment, automotive, or on highway trucks.Basic computer skillsExcellent communication skillsCan work independently with little to no supervisionMust be able to work a flexible schedule, to include some nights and occasional weekendsCandidates missing one requirement will still be consideredMust have a valid Georgia driver license, prefer Class B - CDLPreferred Qualifications/Skills: Course work from accredited trade school, college or university with emphasis in mechanics, hydraulics, and automotive electronics is desirable.Values:At Yancey Bros.
