Machine Operator

Staffmark is hiring a Machine Operator in Stanley, VA! Join a fast-paced team where your precision, attention to detail, and hands-on skills help maintain high-quality door production. Pay: 1st Shift: $18/hr | 2nd Shift: $20/hr Shifts: 1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Thursday 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM, Monday-Thursday Responsibilities: Load screws, hinges, and bifold door panels onto machinery Sort, push, and manipulate door stacks along conveyor tracks Inspect doors to ensure hardware alignment and quality standards Operate bifold machines and perform touch-ups, sanding, putty repair, and minor paint work Read and interpret schedules, tickets, and product specifications Maintain quality standards while working efficiently with minimal supervision Assist with restocking, machine adjustments, and repair of rejected doors Qualifications: Previous material handling experience required High school diploma or equivalent Ability to accurately measure using tape measures and calipers, and perform basic math/fraction conversions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift up to 80-100 lbs, bend, stoop, twist, push/pull, and stand for long periods Willingness to learn multiple tasks and work across different areas Why You'll Love This Job: We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, financial goals, and work-life balance.
