Responsibilities include setting up events with tables, chairs, stages, and AV equipment, performing daily cleaning such as restrooms, vacuuming, and trash removal, and handling general maintenance tasks like inspecting, washing, replacing items, and ensuring everything is in working order.This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00-$17.00.Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.This position will remain open until November 28, 2025.ResponsibilitiesSetting-up and tearing down flooring, chairs, staging, tables, other furnishings and equipmentMeet the physical demands of this job, which include being able to get in and around the facility (requires personal mobility), bending, lifting, carrying, moving, climbing, working from various heights, and moderate to loud noisesFollow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with other in both oral and written formOrganize and prioritize work to meet deadlinesWork effectively under pressure and stringent schedule to produce accurate resultsMaintain an effective working relationship with clients, other employees, and patrons encountered in the course of employmentService and repair all equipment.Check bathrooms, garbage, and building cleanlinessOther duties as assignedResponsible for correct set up and tear down for eventsFlexible hours - daytime, late evening, overnight and early morning hoursMaintains restrooms in a clean and presentable mannerResponsible for keeping all areas in safe, clean conditionKeeps front entrance and outside areas clean and trash picked upResponsible for converting the facility from one event to the nextResponsible for cleaning and maintaining needs of the facilityAdditional responsibilities include providing custodial services, including light maintenance duties in and around Nampa Center facilitiesQualificationsPossess superior interpersonal and strong written and oral communication skillsAbility to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, handle multiple tasks at one time, meet deadlinesMust be self-motivated with strong leadership abilities and organizational skillsWorking knowledge of operational equipment including but not limited to: AV equipment, vacuums, scrubbers, stagingAbility to follow written instruction, interpret drawingsCandidates must be able to follow orders explicitly, be capable of working as part of a team, and be able to work well with other individualsCandidates should be able to work alone if required, and be able to complete tasks up to and including final clean up and putting tools and supplies back to their assigned storage areasWork a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, extended (long) work days and extended number of days
