With consistent project pipelines and a stable workforce of over 130 employees, they pride themselves on delivering quality work with minimal turnover and no layoffs due to market fluctuations.Job DescriptionPosition Overview: We're seeking a Commercial Mechanical Estimator with 3 to 10 years of experience to join our clients growing team. This role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates for both HVAC and plumbing projects primarily within the multifamily and commercial sectors. Candidates with strong commercial estimating skills and familiarity with multifamily projects are highly preferred, but we are also open to motivated professionals with less experience who are eager to grow.Key Responsibilities:Analyze project plans and specifications to develop detailed and competitive cost estimates for mechanical systems.Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to understand project scope and requirements.Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations.Prepare takeoffs, pricing, and bid proposals for projects ranging from $0.5 million to $5 million.Support estimating team efforts across both HVAC and plumbing disciplines.Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the bidding process.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
