Veterinary Technician Supervisor

VCA Noyes Animal Hospital looking to add an enthusiastic and proactive Certified Veterinary Technician to our leadership team as a Technician Supervisor. Location : 710 Northwest Hwy, Fox River Grove, IL 60021 Compensation : $ 27 - $ 28.50 / hr Why We Need You: At VCA Noyes Animal Hospital, we want you to utilize the skills and experience you've gained over your years in this profession and lead and mentor our Veterinary Technician Staff. You will work alongside our Medical Director and Hospital Manager to provide mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently and fosters a winning environment. In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to: * Implementing department policies and procedures. * Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings. * Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs. * Interviewing, training and mentoring new and existing staff. * Delivering employee performance feedback. * Monitoring day-to-day activities and engaging with support staff.
