3rd Shift - General Laborer

ResponsibilitiesWe offer two different schedule options for our General Laborers. YOU choose the schedule that works for your lifestyle. Weekly rotating shift between 1st and 2nd (1st: 6am - 2pm, 2nd: 2pm - 10pm) orStraight 3rd shift (3rd: 10pm - 6am)The following lists the job tasks and responsibilities that the General Laborer may be performing:Responsible for correct reporting of time, production, and material usage.Set up of the machine including preparing materials and retrieving paper from storage.Using a computer, enter information relating to the production run including job information, measurements etc.Reports irregularities, maintenance needs and quality problems to necessary staffAssists crew in running, changing over, starting up and cleaning the machineChecks raw materials and corrugated paper inventory to what is needed for each production run to ensure shortages are preventedAccurately use measuring tools to verify dimensions on corrugated board to ensure a quality productTroubleshoots machine issues and make recommendations on improving the processKeeps work area clean and orderlyOther job tasks and projects as assignedWe are also looking for General Laborers who are self-motivated individuals willing to work safely in a team-based system. They need to have the ability to schedule their work, prioritize their workload, and complete tasks in a timely manner. A desire for continuous improvement and quality workmanship are required to meet our customers increasing demandsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required. Good human relations skills and strong verbal communication skills are required.Compensation and BenefitsAs a General Laborer, you'll start out making $23.40 per hour on day one with room to grow.
