The owner of this steel fabrication and erection shop emailed me this morning letting me know that a project manager is becoming a pressing need.They're growing fast and are looking for a project manager with AISC/AWS steel experience to join the team. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage project schedules and budgets for steel construction activities.Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project alignment and communication.Lead and manage project teams to foster collaboration and high performance.Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout project execution.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance standards on-site.Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders on status and performance.Oversee contract management and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.Allocate resources effectively to optimize project delivery and efficiency.Qualifications3+ years in project management within the steel industry.AISC / AWS experienceBenefitsRetirement benefitsPTO
