Job Title: Phlebotomist II  Job Location: Sugar Land, TX Job Duration: 4-5 Months (possibility of extension) Shift: Mon - Fri 8:30A-5:30P Central   Position Summary The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the organization, providing exceptional patient care while performing high-quality blood collection and specimen preparation. This role builds trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and delivering accurate, timely results. Key Responsibilities Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection (venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric) with skill and adherence to safety protocols. Accurately label and verify specimens in the patient’s presence; confirm patient demographics, signatures, and initials post-collection. Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing while following established procedures and maintaining strict confidentiality. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and logs in compliance with HIPAA and company standards. Provide superior customer service, fostering a professional and positive experience for patients, staff, and visitors. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment, following all health, safety, and infection-control guidelines. Adapt to business needs by covering multiple locations, including on-call, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. Demonstrate leadership behaviors, strong judgment, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
