Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Our client in Plainfield, NJ, is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor for a direct-hire position.Pay range: $20 - 30 DOEHours: 11:45 pm to 9 amThe 3rd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. The supervisor also plays a key role in troubleshooting equipment issues, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities:Directly supervise and train manufacturing employees. Ensuring proper procedures and safety rules are followed. Lead, train, and coach molding machine operators and technicians. Promote teamwork, respect, and a high-performance culture. Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues. Minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency. Coordinate mold changes, start-ups, and shutdowns. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality systems, and company policies. Work collaboratively with maintenance, quality assurance, and engineering teams. Maintain and enforce safe working conditions. Identify equipment improvements/repairs and initiate work orders.
