The chosen candidate will work within the Emergency Services unit and provide essential support to our healthcare team during night shifts. This position offers a 3x12-hour shift schedule, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:- Assist nursing staff in the delivery of patient care services within the Emergency Room setting.- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, feeding, toileting, and ambulation, under the direction of registered nurses.- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing team.- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.- Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment.- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Qualifications:- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nurse Assistant in the state of Illinois.- Previous experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting preferred.- BLS certification required.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.- Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as required .
