Housekeeping Assistant / Monday - Friday

NHC Place at the Trace is looking for a FULL TIME or PART TIME Housekeeper to join our team who is able to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, families, fellow employees and visitors. The qualified applicant for this position must be able to be on feet 7-8 hours a day, lift heavy objects and work with standard cleaning chemicals. Full Time: $15 an hourPosition Highlights:Clean patient bathrooms including sinks, toilets, tubs and showersEmpty garbage cans in patient rooms, patient bathrooms, activity areas and other areas throughout the centerClean patient rooms, including mopping and/or buffing floors, dusting furniture both on top and underneathClean hallways, sweeping up debris, mopping, stripping and buffing following company and center policies and proceduresClean walls, furniture and equipment, as needed, to provide a clean pleasant environment for patients, staff and visitorsWork safely, following proper procedures when using chemical agentsFollow established cleaning schedulesOther duties which may be assigned from time to timeQualifications:Must be able to read and understand Standard EnglishMust be flexible, be a team player, and have a positive attitudeMust enjoy working with geriatric and other healthcare patientsMust be able to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, families, fellow employees and visitorsWhat we offer:We strive to be pioneers in total rewards to ensure that we can attract the very BEST talent.
