A Therapeutic Program Worker (TPW) is a direct care worker that helps residents with daily living skills and assists them with needs. Support given to the individual will vary based on each person's needs and capabilities. * Assists with eating, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, oral hygiene, dressing, grooming, communications, assist with feeding * Transport and attends activities or programs with residents * Complete various daily, monthly, and other required documentation * Observe & report any changes in symptoms, behaviors, accidents, incidents or injuries to charge nurse * Perform light housekeeping duties in the living areas * Applies safety & infection control measures * Assists with redirecting unsafe actions to bring about positive outcomes * Assist nursing personnel with admission, discharge & transfer of residents Helpful Tips Application Procedures: * To be considered for this position, you must apply on-line through this posting website. May be required to lift heavy objects from time to time. May be exposed to a variety of bodily fluids and infectious diseases from residents. May be required to work weekends and mandatory overtime.
