Custodial staff must be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Custodial staff must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below.This role pays an hourly rate of $16.35-$16.92 (per CBA).Benefits as per the union agreement.EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadlineResponsibilitiesArrives for each scheduled shift on time, in uniform and ready to workAbility to work morning, afternoon and/or overnight shifts including weekends and holidaysAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsAbility to stand on feet for up to 8 hours at a time, to kneel, stoop, climb stairs and reach above head as well as perform repetitive motions in connection with cleaning tasksAbility to follow verbal instructions and read written instructions, especially cleaning products and SDSPerforms light and heavy cleaning tasks including but not limited to cleaning bathrooms, locker rooms; Sweeping, mopping, and disposing of garbageRestocks restrooms with suppliesWorks safely, quickly and efficiently to meet all deadlinesMaintains a positive, outgoing demeanor and acknowledges guests in a friendly mannerAll other tasks assigned by SupervisorQualificationsCleaning or event related experience preferredBasic understanding of how to use cleaning equipmentAbility to operate scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors, etcBasic understanding of SDSBasic understanding of PPE
