Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $110,000. Job Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Report certified payroll via LCP Tracker, DIR, or other required platforms as needed.Handle out-of-cycle payroll for terminations and adjustments, ensuring timely and accurate payments.Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax withholdings in a professional manner.Maintain compliance with payroll regulations, prevailing wage laws, and company policies. Requirements: At least 7+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience is required.Experience with certified payroll reporting for government contracts and compliance.Strong knowledge of prevailing wage laws and related payroll regulations.Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel for reconciliation and reporting.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict payroll deadlines. Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure payroll accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills for handling multi-state payroll processing.Effective communication skills to interact with employees, HR, and management regarding payroll concerns.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll information with discretion.Experience in the construction or government contracting industry is a plus.
