Accountant - perm only

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $75,000 to $100,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of monthly account reports for multiple entities.Prepare detailed financial statements on a monthly basis.Set up and maintain internal controls over receipts and disbursements.Present financial data analysis to executive management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.Prepare capital investment analyses, including ROI, depreciation, and cost assessments. Requirements: Liaise with third-party payroll services to report hours, wages, and fringe benefits.Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and tasks.Collaborate with team members and offer support when needed.Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.Communicate effectively in both written and oral formats. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in various accounting functions, including supervisory roles.Understand and apply GAAP reporting standards.Use accounting software proficiently; experience with Sage is a plus.Bring knowledge of the building materials industry, though not required.
