Accounting Specialist

Century Group has partnered with a great non-profit organization who is in search for an Accounting Specialist. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $34 to $35 per hour. Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable and Accounts PayableReview vendor invoices for reasonableness and completion, record into Quickbooks and process payment timely and accurately.Review credit card transactions for reasonableness and record into Quickbooks, perform reconciliation and process payment timely and accurately.Process payment for recurring expense transactions timely and accurately.Process manual payment for ad hoc expenses, employee reimbursement, pay advances and pay adjustments timely and accurately.Process and record deposit transactions timely and accuratelyBi-Weekly PayrollParticipate in bi-weekly payroll processing.Essential Qualifications:College degree required; BA/BS degree with an accounting/finance focus preferred.Need 2+ years of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and/or complex accounting experience.Proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft OfficeExperience working in non-profit or public sector preferred.REF #45016 #LI-POST#ZR
