Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $130,000 to $145,000 per year.Job Responsibilities: Oversee and review the preparation of fixed asset details, depreciation schedules, and account roll-forwards.Review monthly operating expense trend reports and annual budgets, ensuring accuracy and clear variance explanations.Prepare and maintain a journal of questions, responses, and action items for each location based on monthly financial reviews.Act as the primary financial liaison between operations and finance, addressing inquiries related to payroll, accounts payable, contracting, and revenue reimbursement.Provide guidance to finance staff to ensure adherence to proper financial accounting procedures and policies. Requirements: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and corporate structure.Possess strong analytical skills to review account trends, financial details, and budget variances.Maintain effective cross-training processes by documenting procedures and ensuring coverage for account reconciliations and analysis.Offer recommendations for modifying policies, procedures, and system applications to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Provide review comments to Senior Accounting Analysts for variance explanations, reconciliations, and financial statement preparations. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of corporate accounting or financial management experience.Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with operations, finance teams, and senior leadership.Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting systems.Show the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
