RN - OR Manager - Rockford, IL Job type : Full time / Permanent Shifts: Flexible Job Description: We are seeking for a OR Nurse Leader who is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Operating Room (OR) and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies. This leadership role includes planning, scheduling, implementing, and evaluating clinical services, as well as managing staff and resources efficiently. The role reports directly to the Director of Surgery. Operations. Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement department strategies aligned with the hospital's vision and goals.Manage financial, capital, and human resources to meet productivity and quality targets.Support new services and procedural development within the perioperative setting.Ensure consistent operations through the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.Coordinate nursing support across all perioperative clinical areas.Monitor and improve business and clinical performance indicators. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.3-5 years of Operating Room (OR) experience.At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role in a surgical setting.
