Join us/! **Who You Are** You'll perform as a Global Supply Chain Management, Procurement Engineer, Principle **What You Will Be Doing** You'll coordinates with Sourcing, Operations, Design Engineering, the Supply Base and Industry experts to facilitate the design, production, test and qualification of aerospace and defense products/. Analyzes technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier facilities, and parts/equipment availability/. Investigates and recommends potential suppliers based on assessments of response to specifications, costs, inspection of facilities, and historical performance/. Facilitate technical trade/-offs and standardization that may lead to more economical procurement/. Recommends design changes to mitigate production issues/. The ability to obtain a Secret Clearance after you're hired is required Domestic travel will be required /(up to 40%/) AeroSCM **Basic Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university - Expereince in Production Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, or Contracts and advanced negotiation experience - Experience effectively communicating with senior leaders to include program, company, subcontractors, and customers - Experience leading a cross functional team and mitigating any challenges or issues that arise - Experience training, coaching, and/ or mentoring new and emerging talent - Experience operating autonomously, driving actions and results - Expereince in Leadership or Management - Domestic travel will be required /(up to 40%/) **Desired Skills:** - Preferred Degree in Engineering, Technology, Production Operations, Industrial Operations or similar - Demonstrated experience with supplier performance improvement - Broad technical understanding of various manufacturing systems and ability to resolve complex manufacturing related issues - Experience with risk and opportunity management process Experience performing supplier technical/capability/capacity evaluations on suppliers - Experience as a leader, coordinating across multiple program teams to resolve issues across procurement lifecycle - Experience working with teams and providing clear direction on expectations, deliverables and ensuring completion of those items - Firm understanding of how to capture, aggregate, analyze, and present data that effectively demonstrates supplier performance, and then identifying the potential risks and opportunities, to for a positive outcome - Represent the SCM organization to both internal and external stakeholders at all levels - Coordinate, organize, and deploy the SCM strategy to support Prime Contract efforts - Analyze and measure supplier proposal performance to both schedule and financial target **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration/. **Clearance Level:** Secret **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match/. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits/. **Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York /(excluding most major metropolitan areas/), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $138,100 /- $243,455/. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location/. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only/.
