With an exciting pipeline of multifamily projects in Arlington/Alexandria, they're looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support large-scale developments and grow with a collaborative, hands-on team.Job DescriptionThe Emerging Project Manager - Multifamily | Northern Virginia will be responsible for:Supporting the Project Manager in planning and managing all construction phasesPreparing and maintaining key documents, including budgets, schedules, and contractsCoordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and clients to keep everyone alignedConducting regular site visits to oversee safety, quality, and schedule adherenceMonitoring budgets, tracking expenses, and managing financial reportingManaging procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipmentUpdating project schedules using software like Procore and Microsoft ProjectOrganizing and leading project meetings, following up on action itemsHandling change orders, RFIs, and submittals throughout the project lifecycleEnforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations and company standardsDocumenting daily progress, milestones, and field updates for reporting purposesCollaborating with field teams and resolving on-site issues alongside the SuperintendentManaging administrative duties including document control, filing, and data entry MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
