The CSR will be required to provide customers with technical information relating to the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment. On occasion, the customers will require further assistance and the CSR will need to transfer to the appropriate department. Interaction is mainly with Customers, Internal Shipping and Receiving, Purchasing, Help Desk and Service.QualificationsResponsibilitiesAnswer all incoming voice calls and emailsElectronic order processingAssist customers in need of spare parts, equipment service and/or technical adviceGenerate parts quotes and orders, process parts orders and procurement docs in SAPMonitor Back Orders/Open OrdersRequest item numbers, descriptions, availability and pricing for new and/or existing itemsCommunicate to Salesmen and Management issues and opportunities at Business Partner locationsAssist with in-house services such as printing manuals, shipping documents, mail servicesAssist in any other duties required to support operations which may include afterhours call handlingIf needed, assist with pick, pack and ship processQualificationsHigh School diploma or 2 years of Inside Sales/Customer Service Experience.Experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of machines, tools and machine componentsPhysical RequirementsThe physical requirements listed reflect those needed to perform the essential functions of the Customer Service role.
