OverviewCollegiate Baseball Experience, LLC., based in Colonial Heights VA, combines competitive sports and sports entertainment to present a unique fan engagement experience offered by no other sports organization. The organization features multiple brands: the Tri-City Chili Peppers, a summer collegiate wood bat baseball team in the Coastal Plain League; the Chilly Peppers, an alter-ego team that plays exhibition games; the Cosmic Chili Peppers of the Cosmic Sports league, and the GlowMojis of the Cosmic Sports league.Summary/ObjectiveWant an opportunity to work in the fastest growing company in sports entertainment? Cosmic Baseball is known for high-energy games, strong community presence, and innovative fan experiences.The Tri-City Chili Peppers (Cosmic Baseball division) has a Group Sales AE opportunity covering the Chili Peppers Cosmic Takeover Tour, and the home Tri-City Chili Peppers games played as part of the Coastal Plains League.Group SalesAccount Executives focus on generating revenue for the organization primarily through group ticket sales. This role will develop and execute their own personal business plan centered around finding, closing, then retaining group sales business for the organization. Responding to referrals, group ticketing requests, and working with prior year groups are the main channels. This role also includes front gate responsibilities (e.g. checking in groups, and operating guest services where game day ticket issues are resolved.Essential FunctionsProspect, qualify, and set appointments with organizations, businesses, and community groups to secure group lottery entries across 30 markets nationwide.Actively manage inbound group requests by contacting, qualifying, and guiding prospects through the buying process to ensure high conversion rates.Develop and execute a personal sales plan centered around maximizing group entries and delivering consistent ticket revenue growth.Provide customer service and year-round account management by maintaining regular communication with group leaders and decision makers.Represent the organization at games, local events, and community functions to build relationships and promote ticket sales.Collaborate with local and tour market partners to identify new promotional opportunities that increase lottery participation.Listen carefully to each prospect's needs and match them with ticketing assets and group experiences the organization can provide.Maintain accurate records of all sales activity by consistently updating CRM systems after each point of contact.Work persistently to generate new business through outbound calls, emails, social media, and referrals, ensuring a robust pipeline in all 30 markets.Assist in developing and refining group sales strategies to maximize attendance and enhance the overall customer experience.Required Experience and QualificationsMinimum of 1-2 years of proven sales experience preferred. Proven track record of exceeding individual sales goals.Ability to present sales collateral, handle objections, negotiate and close ticket sales business. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision. This is a largely sedentary role.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.
