MAINTENANCE REPAIR SPECIALIST 1

The Position Maintenance Repair Specialists perform a variety of skilled work in two or more of the mechanical and construction trades in order to repair, construct, and/or maintain buildings, grounds and equipment. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. This position is located at Southern Desert Correctional Center (SDCC) in Indian Springs. Incumbents will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on equipment machinery, and facility systems. Duties include to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues; maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports on repairs and maintenance schedules.
