Accounts Payable Specialist - Accounting Clerk - Check Processor PrideStaff Hattiesburg, is seeking a dynamic and skilled Accounts Payable Specialist - Accounting Clerk for a local client. Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Accounts Payable Specialist - you will be responsible for the following.Processing and monitoring received invoicesAnswering vendor/supplier questions through telephone and written communicationMonitor assigned accountsAbility to work closely with additional departmentsReconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balancesEscalate any overdue Account Payable for additional effortsCharge expenses to correct accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reportsPerforming other related duties as requiredJob RequirementsOther requirements for the Accounts Payable Specialist - Accounting Clerk include:Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounts payableBachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred but not requiredFast and accurate 10-key and data entry skillsProficiency in MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, etc.)Excellent interpersonal skillsAnalytical and problem solving skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while paying attention to detail with high level of accuracyEffective verbal and listening communications skillsVery effective organizational skills and written communication skillsStress management and time management skillsPhone 601-582-8881All compensation and pay rates are dependent upon skills and experience.PrideStaff is an equal opportunity employer.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $15.00 - $20.00
