Ultimately, the shared experience and expertise of our family of partner firms empower our clients to achieve more.DESCRIPTION:As Tax Manager, you will lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area and deliver quality tax services that will increase firm's reputation. You will serve as business advisor to our clients aiming at maximizing engagement and achieving qualitative outcomes. In this role, you will ensure that clients state and federal tax documents are prepared and filed in a timely manner and advise clients on tax planning, tax research, and tax compliance. To be successful in this role, you will be able to manage multiple projects efficiently and identify opportunities to grow the company's client base.RESPONSIBILITIES:Delivers a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within given timeframesBuilds relationships and interacts with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertiseProvides innovative tax planning and reviews complex income tax returnsIdentifies and mitigates tax risksCoordinates accounting staff and assesses their performanceManages tax provisions and tax compliance processesImproves processes by developing or implementing best practicesManages and coordinates tax auditsMaintains tax balances on general ledgerPrepares all tax papers in regular basis and handles all information data requestCoach and mentor, the finance/accounting teamManage individual income tax compliance, tax counseling, tax projections, tax notices and other financial related support for the partners of the firm. Perform various other duties as assigned by the Manager. Oversee, prepare and deliver corporate income tax returns (federal and state) and manage retention of necessary documentation for audit. Manage high volume client load and complex projects with minimum supervision. Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential. Maintain timely month, quarter and year-end close out processes to support the foreign parent companys closing schedule.
