Safety Manager

Job title: Safety ManagerLocation: Sacramento, CAProject size: $10M+Compensation: $110-135K base DOE + bonusPosition OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Manager to oversee and enhance our safety programs within our construction projects. The Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and minimizing risks on-site to protect our employees and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to promote safety initiatives and improve work practices.Prepare and maintain safety documentation and reports for regulatory compliance and internal review.Act as a liaison between management, employees, and regulatory agencies regarding safety matters.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in the construction industry.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS standards.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent communication and leadership skills.Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST) is highly desirable.Benefits3 weeks PTO, great benefits, 401K match, bonuses (10-20%)
