Veterinary Client Service Representative Role Pet Emergency & Specialty Center of South County is seeking a Client Service Representative to join our amazing team! The Client Service Representative performs a vital role in our practice recognizing and meeting all client needs. The CSR is a powerful factor in determining if a client has a positive experience. Candidate must have a compassionate, caring and understanding attitude toward worried clients. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Role Responsibilities: * Will help the client with every step of the process during their visit to the hospital (check in, triage, updates, presenting treatment plans, financial transactions, discharge process). * Immediately acknowledge and greet any patients, clients or staff members upon arrival. * Recognize a critical patient that needs to be brought to the treatment area for immediate medical attention. * Obtain the presenting complaint, duration of problem, TPR and weight of emergency patient arriving to the hospital. * Immediately notify a doctor if a patient appears to need immediate medical attention. * Bring emergency patients to the treatment area. * Input information into the computer. * Ensure the proper and timely flow of patients presenting to the treatment area. * Collect appropriate fees and process paperwork accurately. * Answer the phones. * Keep the lobby, reception areas, exam rooms clean at all times. * Complete training and continuing education assignments on schedule. * Required shifts may be scheduled on nights, weekends, and holidays. You may be required to work beyond regularly scheduled shifts at times due to an unexpectedly heavy emergency caseload. Experience & Technical skills: * Client Service experience of 1-2 years. * Computer skills. Able to enter information in the computer. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * Outgoing and friendly. * Effective verbal and communication skills. * Strong to multi-task and work well with others. * Accountable. * Self-motivated. * Detail-oriented. * Able to remain calm in stressful situations.
