HIRING LEAD ESTIMATOR FOR IMMEDAITE CONSIDERATION EMAIL YOUR RESUME TO: msemmel@!! Lead Estimator - Metal Fabrication & Machine Shop: - Able to work independently with minimum supervision and make independent decisions. - Prepares metal fabrication quotations. - Analyze RFQ requirements, technical drawings, associated specifications. - Self-motivated, financially accountable with top line sales responsibility Job Duties: - Compute costs of materials, purchased items, fabrication processes and time requirements. - Solicit and collect material costs. - Identify optimal material utilization and fabrication methods. - Establish fabrication rates and options for fabrication methods. - Maintain metrics related to quality and timeliness of estimates and win/loss ratios. - Review and recommend updates to work center rates and rate tables. - Review job costing to establish accuracy of estimates and process. Additional Skills & Qualifications - Extensive metal fabricating print reading skills and the ability to interpret/analyze specifications and tolerances. - Knowledge of metal fabrication processes. - Attention to detail. - Ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. - Must have at least ten (10) years of experience in the same or similar role. - Ability to make sales calls and develop new customers. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $46.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
