Job Title: Estimator Job Description We are seeking a mid-level Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with existing clients and help generate new business through established relationships and previous industry bids. This role involves substantial time spent on bid packages and pricing, and we are looking for someone interested in a long-term position. Proficiency in using estimating take-off software such as Timberline, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift is required. Responsibilities * Collaborate with current clients and develop new client relationships through industry connections. * Prepare and manage bid packages and pricing for various projects. * Work with subcontractors across multiple trades to secure bids and pricing. * Bid on large interior projects encompassing all trades. Essential Skills * 5+ years of experience as a General Contractor Estimator (consideration given to those with 4 years). * Experience working with subcontractors in various general contractor trades. * Proficiency in using Timberline, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift software. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Strong relationships with subcontractors. * Experience in bidding large interior projects. Work Environment The position is based in Georgetown, DC, with an initial requirement to work in the office five days a week. Once the candidate has demonstrated capability and responsibility, there is the potential for a more flexible, hybrid work schedule. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $58.00/hr.
