Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations while enhancing your skills. The position is contract-based and will run until the end of the year. Responsibilities: - Process and manage invoices, including matching, batching, and coding them accurately. - Perform data entry tasks to ensure all financial records are updated and organized. - Assist with weekly check printing and handle mailing checks to vendors in a timely manner. - Conduct vendor research and maintain effective communication to address inquiries or discrepancies. - Utilize Yardi accounting software to perform daily tasks and ensure compliance with company procedures. - Reconcile invoices and resolve any payment-related issues efficiently. - Ensure all approved invoices are recorded and processed according to company standards. - Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth financial operations and reporting. FOR IMMEDIDATE CONSIDERATION PLEASE CONTACT: Kelly Fellows 865-370-2219 Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related role. - Proficiency in Yardi accounting software is highly preferred. - Strong skills in data entry with attention to accuracy and detail. - Familiarity with invoice reconciliation and coding processes. - Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Excel and other financial tools. - Excellent communication skills for vendor correspondence and issue resolution. - Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
