This is a working supervisory position responsible for the leadership and development of the patient care team. Technical skills that you will be utilizing (and teaching!) include: * Client education and communication * Compassionate patient care * Patient assessment * Surgical preparation and assisting * Anesthesia induction and monitoring * Lab sample collection and processing * Venipuncture and catheter placement * Pharmacy and medication administration * Diagnostic imaging * Medical recordkeeping * Supervisory duties will include: * Team training, development and support * Implementing department policies and procedure * Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings * Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs * Record keeping * Inventory ordering and management * Equipment maintenance Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) is required for this role, management experience preferred.
