ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Position Overview: Ledgent Finance & Accounting’s client is currently seeking a dedicated Accounting Specialist to join their client's tenured and established team in Woodland, CA. This role is ideal for an individual with a some experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable (or strong experience in Accounts Payable with a desire to learn more about Accounts Receivable), looking to make a significant contribution to the company’s financial operations. Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices. Oversee accounts receivable activities, ensuring accurate billing and collections. Perform balance sheet reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial statements. Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded and discrepancies are resolved. Handle credit card reconciliations, ensuring all expenses are accounted for and discrepancies are addressed. Assist with the month-end close process, ensuring all financial information is accurately reported. Requirements: Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable management. Strong knowledge of balance sheet and bank reconciliation processes is ideal. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial record keeping. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. Ability to work independently with little supervision or oversight. Strong work ethic is paramount and someone who takes accountability for their workload. Required Work Hours: The position requires availability from Monday to Friday during regular business hours and is 100% on-site! Benefits: The position offers a competitive pay range, with a minimum pay of $28.00 per hour and a maximum pay of $33.00 per hour.
