Job Title: Construction Superintendent Job Description The Project Superintendent assumes accountability for project site coordination, subcontractor and supplier scheduling, site safety, quality, and productivity while maintaining and nurturing relationships with the entire project building team. The role requires overseeing on-site execution of work, ensuring adherence to contract documents, quality standards, and project schedule. Responsibilities * Oversee on-site execution of work, ensuring adherence to contract documents, quality standards, and project schedule. * Foster strong collaboration with project stakeholders including owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Ensure compliance with all safety protocols by conducting orientations and inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing safety plans. * Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety through consistent behavior and leadership. * Monitor and manage the general conditions budget to support the financial success of the project by controlling and reducing costs. * Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and project diaries. * Participate in owner meetings to provide updates and address project needs. * Secure necessary permits, approvals, and inspections from governmental agencies and utility providers. * Lead the preparation and completion of punch lists and closeout documentation. Essential Skills * 5+ years of experience as a Construction Manager/Site Superintendent supporting ground up, industrial, and/or data center work. * Experience with precast and tilt-wall projects. * Proficiency in Procore & Bluebeam Software. * Experience creating look ahead schedules. * OSHA 30 certification. * CPR/ AED/ BBP and First Aid Training. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience with industrial construction management. * Familiarity with Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam. * Knowledge in construction supervision, blueprint reading, quality control, and subcontractor management. * Understanding of construction safety and scheduling. Work Environment The office is located in Oak Brook, IL, featuring a beautifully renovated space. Candidates will need to attend training and orientation at the office for the first 1-2 weeks. This position is based in the Chicagoland area, with a preference for candidates who are open to traveling out-of-state for projects on a per diem setup. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $72.12/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
