I. Job Summary The Launch Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the FAST team within the Launch Department to enable the implementation and/or de-implementation of new, renewing, or existing customers for Waste Management (SBS). In this role, this position is responsible for overseeing and leading the work of FAST Launch Analysts. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. * Provide oversight and direction to Launch Analysts responsible for the resolution of client email and tickets related to implementation issues. They also provide pre-delivery calls and Pre-Bills. * Perform daily, weekly, and monthly project tracking within specific operational teams including progress, key performance indicators, resource management, workforce allocation/tracking, and workflow supervision of volume. * Operate as the point of contact for escalated/urgent issues; Resolve issues and communicates cross functionally, as required * Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of team and inter-team business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output * Establish and maintain relevant team controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the department * Plan team staffing levels and work with Launch Manager and Human Resources to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees * Coach, mentor and develop staff, including training new and existing employees * Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment * Review performance data to monitor and measure team productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness * Appropriately communicate organization information through team meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate interpersonal communication * Build and maintain productive working relationships with leaders and employees of other departments, customers, vendors, and WM's Operational (Market) Areas * Other duties as assigned III. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has supervisory responsibilities. IV. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. A. Education and Experience * Education: Associate's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 2 years of relevant work experience. * Experience: 3 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement). B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements * None required. C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required * Supervisory or management experience in a team-oriented workplace * Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills * Strong analytical and modeling skills * Robust project management and time management skills * Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications * Critical thinking ability and problem-solving skills * Ability to excel in a fluid, fast-paced team environment * Ability to train new and existing employees * Basic knowledge of business processes and process improvement V. Work Environment Listed below are key points regarding environmental demands and work environment of the job. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
