Job Description

Job Title: Electronic Technician Job Description As an Electronic Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions. You will assist in the design, construction, testing, and validation of test equipment, and operate diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and signal generators. Your expertise will be essential in conducting production testing of power conversion products and performing functional testing of electromechanical systems. Responsibilities * Support troubleshooting and resolution of equipment malfunctions. * Assist in the design, construction, testing, and validation of test equipment. * Operate diagnostic tools and equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and test programs. * Conduct production testing of power conversion products per Acceptance Test Procedures. * Perform functional testing of electromechanical systems using engineering specifications and technical instructions. * Assemble electronic or electromechanical subassemblies and components based on blueprints, wire lists, and diagrams. * Carry out routine pre-assembly tasks and AC/DC testing. Essential Skills * Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent electronics training from a technical school or military technical school. Equivalent work experience will be considered. * At least 2 years' previous experience working as an Electronics Technician. * Experience working on electronic assemblies, particularly in analog and/or power conversion products. * AC/DC experience with low and high voltage. * Proficiency in reading test requirements and accurately documenting test issues. * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with attention to detail. * Knowledge of soldering techniques, color codes, and component identification. Additional Skills & Qualifications * J - Standard certified (highly preferred). Work Environment The position is set in a manufacturing and electrical testing environment, focusing on power systems, AC/DC, high voltage, and testing equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Franklin, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
