THE WORK * The selected candidate will prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages. * They will determine sources and purchase raw material, parts, systems and equipment for operation of a rotorcraft production organization. * They will analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. •Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules and will monitor performance of suppliers. WHO YOU ARE You are an experienced Subcontract Administrator with a strong background in procurement and supplier management. You possess excellent analytical and organization skills, coupled with an understanding of acquisition policies and procedures. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 3+years of related experience in Supply Chain or Procurement * Negotiation and/or price analysis experience * US DoD industry experience * Project management skills. * Proficient Microsoft Office Skills Desired Skills: * Ability to present to live and virtual audiences * Multi-tasking * Relationship management * Team work and networking * Also, proficient in SAP (P1S), Supplier Portal applications, terms negotiations, Cyber Security, International Trade Compliance (ITC), Subcontract types, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and all related processes. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
