**Overview** **Job Summary Details:** The Floor Technician is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all flooring surfaces within a facility. This includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and vacuuming floors to ensure a clean and safe environment. **Location: Denver & Surrounding areas** **Shift: Open availability** **Payrate: $21 Hourly** The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. This includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and vacuuming floors to ensure a clean and safe environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Clean and maintain various types of flooring (tile, carpet, hardwood, concrete, etc.) + Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors, and vacuums + Strip, wax, and polish floors as needed + Spot clean carpets and perform deep carpet cleaning + Follow safety procedures and use appropriate signage when working + Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment + Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors + Ensure compliance with company standards and health regulations **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent preferred + Previous experience in floor care or janitorial services is a plus + Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions + Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment + Good communication and time management skills **Work Environment:** + May involve working evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts + Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
