Description Accounts Payable Analyst - Contract-to-Hire Spring, TX | Hybrid (after 90 days) Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for organization and accuracy? Our client, a nonprofit organization, is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join their team in the Spring area. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering a hybrid schedule after the first 90 days. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing accounts payable operations across multiple states and business entities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities + AP Queue Management: Review and process purchase requests, invoices, and expense reports with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. + Accuracy & Documentation: Verify coding, approvals, and documentation prior to payment processing. + Multi-State / Multi-Entity Complexity: Manage AP operations across 5 entities and multiple states, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and program-specific requirements. + Communication & Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Operations, and Procurement teams to resolve discrepancies, and maintain professional communication with vendors regarding payment inquiries. + Process Improvement & Compliance: Identify opportunities for efficiency while upholding accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines. Requirements Qualifications + 2-4 years of Accounts Payable or related financial analysis experience (multi-entity preferred). + Strong knowledge of financial systems, AP workflows, and accounting software (Sage Intacct a plus) + High attention to detail with proven accuracy in coding and processing. + Excellent organizational skills for handling high-volume workloads with competing priorities. + Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
