A great candidate for this role will have a full understanding and hands-on experience with all functions related to Human Resources.The Human Resources Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resources (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy. This position should ensure that all companies across 20+ states are compliant with state, local, and federal employment laws, and work closely with other managers to ensure fair and adequate treatment of all employees that make up team JEFFRIES.SERVPRO offers:First-class compensation, $115,000-$130,000 base salary.Excellent benefitsWeekly pay scheduleProfessional developmentWork for one of the largest SERVPRO franchisesKey ResponsibilitiesLegal Compliance: Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.Administration: Oversee the administration of human resource programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.Recruiting: Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. Identify staffing and recruiting anizational Health: Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.Human Resources Management: Manage employee performance including onboarding, discipline, and termination; ensure proper documentation of all formal employee performance management steps; operate as part of a management team dedicated to employee retention and fair management practices.Team Management: Manage a small team of internal recruiters and a HR Generalist. Oversee daily workflow, provide performance evaluations, and handle discipline and termination per policy.Necessary Experience and Skill SetWillingness to adapt to the needs of the largest 24/7 damage restoration company in the SERVPRO system that provides emergency services nationwide and sometimes internationally.Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, and attention to detail.Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize and delegate.Strong supervisory and leadership skills; thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.At least ten years of human resource management experience required; experience in California or Colorado preferred.SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.Each SERVPRO Franchise is Independently Owned and Operated.All employees of a SERVPRO Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the supervision and control of an independently owned and operated Servpro Franchise.
