Machine Repairer /- 2nd ShiftDescriptionWork Performed:Maintains, adjusts, and repairs all types of machines and mechanical equipment such as mills, lathes, drills, presses, hammers, air compressors, automatic machines, etc/. Analyze trouble, diagnoses and locates causes, dismantles, repairs, or replaces defective parts and reassembles/. Sets up and operates such machines as lathe, mill, drill press, grinders, etc/., in making repair parts or repairing old parts/. Performs scraping and flaking operations on the ways of various types of machinery/.
