Our architecture is proven and robust - you'll optimize, extend, and ensure it handles 10x growth while maintaining reliability. If you're passionate about building scalable systems in the financial domain, this could be the perfect role for you.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and implementation of large-scale integrations, such as Metronome and extending into analytics platforms like Sigma.Architect, optimize, and scale data pipelines and multi-tenant data systems to handle increasing volumes of usage, billing, and financial data.Extend and evolve our API and webhook infrastructure, ensuring reliability, backward compatibility, and performance at scale.Ensure data consistency, integrity, and auditability across distributed systems and 3rd-party integrations.Partner with product and GTM teams to define data models, schemas, and reporting capabilities that unlock customer insights and drive adoption.Strengthen authentication, authorization, and security patterns across integrations and customer data flows.Profile, troubleshoot, and optimize critical integration paths that directly impact customer experience and revenue accuracy.Own the resolution of high-priority integration issues, working closely with support and customer success teams.Leverage AI-powered tooling to accelerate development and testing of integration workflows.Stay current on modern integration frameworks, API standards, and MCP patterns, and introduce best practices to the team.What We’re Looking For7+ years building and scaling backend systems in production SaaS environments.Proven experience owning complex data integrations or ETL pipelines (financial, billing, or analytics integrations strongly preferred).Strong experience designing and scaling APIs (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC) and managing API performance/reliability.Deep SQL expertise, with experience in query optimization, schema design, indexing, and transactional integrity.Familiarity with data warehousing/analytics tools (e.g., Snowflake, Sigma, Looker) and how to design data models for business users.Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot and/or Node.js/TypeScript.Experience with both relational and NoSQL data stores in high-scale environments.Track record working with authentication and secure data access patterns (OAuth, SSO, role-based access).Excellent collaboration and communication skills — able to partner with product, GTM, and external partners.Growth mindset with eagerness to learn new integration frameworks, MCPs, and emerging data practices.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Preferred SkillsDomain knowledge in revenue operations, billing, or financial systems.Salesforce platform development and integrationAWS services (RDS, Lambda, SQS)Kafka or similar event streaming platformsFinancial or billing systems domain knowledgeWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work in the dynamic and innovative Silicon Valley tech ecosystem.The chance to work on groundbreaking projects and influence the future of finance and payment systems.A collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages personal and professional growth.About Nue.io CareersWe believe that the right way to accelerate business results is by giving go-to-market teams agility - to sell and monetize ANY revenue model, across ANY channel, with complete and accurate revenue visibility end-to-end.This requires a truly disruptive product and innovative team - we’re bringing CPQ, Billing, Revenue Lifecycle Management, and Revenue Analytics under one platform, upleveling teams and companies with pricing and billing agility, and revenue intelligence.Founded in 2019 #J-18808-Ljbffr
