OverviewJoin to apply for the Workday Solution Architect– Federal role at GuidehouseResponsibilitiesAs part of our Workday Practice, you’ll be a member of an energized team of advisory professionals who deliver more than just technologyFrom initial assessments to entire transformations, you’ll deliver Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions equipping organizations with the information they need to make better business decisionsAs a Solution Architect, you will:Advise federal clients on human capital management systems and other available service-based technologiesReview, plan, and provide assistance to clients in end-to-end human capital system implementation activitiesCreate, review, and advise on digital roadmaps from conception to post-implementation assessmentPlan, develop, and implement work processes and methodologies to support deploymentBe a hands-on Lead to the HCM Workstream consultants, on assigned projects, helping to streamline client processParticipate in and Lead (when necessary) Design Sessions, configure creative solutions, and mentor other consultantsResponsibilities include documentation, advanced configuration, SOW review and adherence, go-live support, and post-production (hypercare) supportAn escalation point both internally and to customersAssist in the sales process, such as responding to RFPs, acting as a subject matter expert on requirement responses, attending sales oralsLead the architecture and configuration of the Guidehouse Federal Workday TenantDirectly manage (as their people manager) consultants within our Workday PracticeParticipate in an innovative, teaming culture for the HCM team to enable constant innovationStrong ability to team with leadership, consultant and customer to communicate challenges and improvements to project processesDemonstrate consultative and leader skillsHave a passion for high customer satisfaction levelsWhat You Will NeedMust be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with GuidehouseLocation: HIGHLY preferred in Washington, DC Metro Area. If you do NOT live in the DC Metro Area, you will be expected to travel to the area as neededUp to 50% non-local (for non-DC-residents) and local (for DC-residents) travel with a focus on work from home and/or Guidehouse officeBachelor's degree with a MINIMUM of SIX (6) years of relevant experience using Workday (or similar ERPs) HCM, and/or Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, PEX, Talent, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence; OR a Master's degree with FOUR (4) years of relevant experience using Workday (or similar ERPs) HCM, and/or Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, PEX, Talent, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence. Years of experience can be substituted for a formal degree, such as NO degree with a MINIMUM of TEN (10) years of relevant experience using Workday (or similar ERPs) HCM, and/or Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, PEX, Talent, Payroll, Time Tracking, and AbsenceEngaged in at least 5 full Workday or similar ERPs HCM, and/or Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, PEX, Talent, Payroll, Absence, Tracking, Scheduling implementationsWhat Would Be Nice To HaveCurrent holder of one of the following Workday Certifications: Human Capital Management (HCM), Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Tracking, Scheduling, etcExperience with the execution of projects within a structured methodologySolid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPointStrong written and oral communication skills (RFP responses, white papers, etc.) and presentation skills such as Workday demonstrations and client presentationsImplementations experience in the public sector with a strong preference for Federal GovernmentExperience working in HR Department environments with an understanding of the issues facing organizations todayExperience in an ERP Software Sales cycle (RFx responses, orals presentations, etc.)Experience with federal shared service providers (e.g., USDA NFC, DOI IBC, DFAS)Familiarity with federal procurement cyclesSoftware as a Service work experience and/or knowledge of SaaS delivery models and associated characteristicsCompensationThe annual salary range for this position is $149,000.00-$248,000.00.
