OverviewPrincipal Security Engineer IS, Risk Management — HybridThe Security Engineer on the Risk Advisory team within Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk, Attack Surface and Compliance (GRAC) is responsible for leading security risk management and cybersecurity engineering projects at an organizational level. This position requires expertise in risk management analysis and security engineering to help protect organizational assets, maintain regulatory compliance, and support secure operations across platforms and services.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough risk assessments and third-party product evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and assess the impact of various risks; evaluate the organization/'s risk profile in alignment with policies, controls, business objectives, and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.Manage and monitor risk exceptions and issues; collaborate with other teams to define mitigation strategies to reduce Providence/'s overall risk exposure.Serve as a thought leader in emerging processes and technologies; help develop, automate, and identify standards and best practices; promote their implementation within Information Services and champion the Cyber Risk Advisory roadmap and vision.Additional ContextProvidence caregivers are valued; join our team at Enterprise Information Services and thrive in a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.
