OverviewJob Location: 1474 Gates Avenue - Brooklyn, NYPosition Type: Full TimeEducation Level: BachelorSalary Range: $56,000.00 - $60,000.00Travel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: Day ShiftResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of the Learn and Earn Program and ensure all personnel abide by DYCD and RiseBoro policies and proceduresServe as EO-WIOA Liaison / ACCES-VR LiaisonEnsure all required WIOA program elements are provided including educational services, work-based learning, occupational training, leadership development, support services, mentoring, guidance counseling, financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills training and work readiness trainingPlan and oversee work-based learning and work experience opportunitiesDevelop and place youth at work-based learning sites and maintain productive relationships with employers and high school personnelOversee outreach, recruitment, application intake, enrollment, and retention processesOversee and review all information input into the DYCD Connect PTS databaseReview and approve all program element activities and follow-up servicesCommunicate with Learn and Earn staff to ensure deadlines are met, issues addressed, follow-up visits conducted, referrals properly made, and sign-in/sign sheets calculated correctlyPrepare participant incentives, ensuring all required backup is in order and submitting requests throughout the yearMaintain all program recordsEnsure all program reports and verification tools are submitted to DYCD on a timely basisMaintain contact with DYCD officials and staff throughout the program periodAttend all DYCD monthly program provider meetingsEO-WIOA Liaison / ACCES-VR Liaison ResponsibilitiesAdhere to the Non-discrimination and Equal Opportunity provisions for WIOA (29 CFR Part 38)Attend all required meetings/trainings regarding EO-WIOAReview agency policies to ensure nondiscriminationComply with Section 188/Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504Act as the liaison to DYCD/ACCES-VROrient staff, participants, linkages, partnerships, and employers on the Non-discrimination and Equal Opportunity provisions for WIOA, including but not limited to the following:Reasonable Accommodations Policies and ProceduresGrievance Policies and ProceduresDiscrimination Complaint Policies and ProceduresComplete and submit all required documents in a professional and timely manner, including but not limited to:Training Tracking formWIOA Interagency Release of Information Form (if applicable)Discrimination Complaint Log to be submitted to DYCD quarterlyIssue, review and obtain signature on the NORAB (Notice of Rights Acknowledgment Bulletin) for staff/participants/linkages/partnerships/employers; maintain NORAB with original signature on fileShare ACCES-VR User Friendly Guide with all participants/employees; complete the DYCD/ACCES-VR Checklist, if applicableProminently post all required postingsPublicize contact information for the designated EO/ACCES-VR liaison, staff who handles complaints and staff who has access to confidential filesEnsure that DYCD has accurate and up-to-date information in a timely mannerConduct outreach and education about equal opportunity and nondiscrimination requirements aligned with 29 CFR 38.40 and how to file a complaint under 29 CFR 38.69Ensure the DYCD-approved LEP Plan/Babel Notice is shared with participants and employeesOversee the implementation of the LEP PlanProvide Universal Access to the WIOA Title I financially assisted program and activitiesSupervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate all activities of staff; convene meetings with staff; plan and conduct participant orientationProvide leadership and direction to the teams to ensure high performance; act as an enthusiastic, positive and motivated coachTake full responsibility for performance management of the teams to ensure quality and deadlines are achieved, and issues are managed in line with RiseBoro policiesEnsure teams are appropriately staffed at all timesCoordinate training programs for new staff and identify training needs for current staffCompetenciesAbility to multi-task and meet deadlinesStrong organization, communication and writing skills; detail-orientedProficiency in MS Office SuiteBilingual a plusEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or a two-year degree and 5 years of relevant experience including case management experience.Equal Employment Opportunity statement: It is the policy of RiseBoro to provide equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants for employment.
