Introduction We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SharePoint Architect to lead the design, deployment, and support of secure Microsoft-based infrastructure and SharePoint solutions across on-premises and Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring over 20 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure architecture, cloud engineering, and SharePoint administration, with a strong background supporting federal and commercial clients. What You/'ll Be Doing Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture Architect and implement secure Azure landing zones, including IL6 environments for DoD clients. Lead cloud migration efforts from on-premises datacenters to Azure using tools like Azure Site Recovery. Design and deploy Azure Virtual Desktop environments and custom Windows images. Support air-gapped Azure workloads and cross-domain alerting solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentoring through internal training programs and boot camps. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams for technical reviews, proposal development, and client engagements. Manage infrastructure teams, set quarterly goals, and oversee professional development. Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep. Ensure compliance with security frameworks including DISA STIGs and NIST SP 800-171. SharePoint Architecture & Administration Lead the design, implementation, and migration of SharePoint infrastructure for enterprise environments. Provide operational support for mission-critical SharePoint applications, including performance tuning, patching, and troubleshooting. Manage SharePoint content migration and upgrades across multiple environments. Support certification and accreditation processes for SharePoint systems. Collaborate with development teams to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems. Administer SharePoint farms and ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations. Develop and maintain documentation for SharePoint architecture, processes, and governance. Required Qualifications Security Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret, SCI eligible. Education: Master of Science in Information Systems Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related IT field. Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Azure Administrator Associate Azure Security Engineer Associate Azure Network Engineer Associate Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty CompTIA Security+ CE Technical Skills: Cloud: Microsoft Azure Scripting & Automation: PowerShell, Terraform, ARM, Bicep Platforms: Windows, Linux Networking & Security: Active Directory, DISA STIGs, NIST standards Data: SQL Server DevOps Tools: Azure DevOps, Visual Studio Code SharePoint: Farm architecture, administration, migration, integration Preferred Experience Experience supporting federal agencies such as DOJ, FBI, Army, and Air Force. Proven track record in SharePoint infrastructure design and administration. Familiarity with cross-domain alerting and secure cloud workload deployment. Strong communication and leadership skills in both technical and client-facing roles.
