Become a part of our fast-growing, dynamic team and we'll help you develop your career to a level that will exceed your expectations.Pay, benefits and more.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.What you’ll do on a typical dayOwn the forecast, budget, and financial analysis for the IT and Operations Excellence functional departmentsPartner with department leaders to continuously improve forecasting, standard deliverables, month-end close and data acquisitionPresent to leadership, up to regional CFO and CEO, on IT and Operations Excellence budgets and financial strategiesEnsure budget targets are being met, including variance analysis and identification of savings opportunitiesEvaluate potential expenses and returns for proposed projectsWork with IT Leadership and your team to set and track targets for labor, T&E and vendor spendDesign and deliver standard reporting to support management using a variety of software, including Power BI, Excel, Power Point, Oracle ERP and financial planning software (Oracle ePBCS); design and deliver analytical toolsManage site level costing to provide clear IT costing to each siteSupport strategic decision making in the IT and Operations Excellence organizationsInterpret large volumes of internal data and prepare forecast accuracy reportingCreate templates and deliverables for KPIs; utilize KPIs to ensure the management of expenses and driving expanding margins as the business growsIdentify methods to monitor performance against original assumptionsDevelop detective controls and predictive indicatorsManage a high-performing team and invest time in developing team membersWhat you need to succeed at GXOAt a minimum, you’ll need:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, or equivalent related work or military experience5 or more years of experience in finance and/ or accounting roles, with demonstrated growth through leadership3 or more years managing IT finance in a large organizationMicrosoft Office and analytic software experienceExperience developing and preparing capital and operating budgetsExperience monitoring budgets and identifying problem areas, conducting research into causes and corrective actions and making appropriate recommendationsThe ability to learn and understand functionality of multiple logistics-related systems (warehouse, transportation, shipment management systems, etc.)Thorough knowledge of financial monitoring/control, and general ledger and accounts payable processes and proceduresIt’d be great if you also have:Master’s degree and/or CPA certification7+ years of experience in finance and / or accounting rolesBackground in logistics, transportation, warehousing and/or distributionWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
