Join WWT today!What will you be doing?The Area Director is responsible for orchestrating strategic initiatives that maximize gross profit, accelerate time to value, and enhance organizational effectiveness within WWT. This leader will spearhead business planning, drive team excellence, and optimize partner relationships through strategic alignment with WWT's unparalleled OEM ecosystem. Working collaboratively with presales leadership, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, this role will establish a data-driven governance framework that transforms KPIs into actionable insights and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a transformational leader with proven success in sales operations strategy, performance optimization, and cross-functional collaboration within complex technology environments. You will leverage WWT's Advanced Technology Center (ATC) and deep healthcare industry expertise to position the company as the premier partner.ResponsibilitiesPositioning and promoting WWT's value propositionLeading your sales team in the development and expansion of opportunities/maintaining existing accounts and relationships, executing sales strategies, and accurate forecastingPrevious management experience with both direct and indirect reports, and previous selling experience of IT hardware and solutionsMultiple OEM product experience (i.e. Cisco, Dell, etc.) and previous account management experience requiredExperience working and succeeding within a quota and commission structure and strong leadership experience requiredQualificationsCreate a team environment while leading in the delivery of operational excellence and financial performance, ensuring profitable services engagements.Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales, PS, internal support organizations, customers, OEMs and partners.Exercise comprehensive knowledge of WWT’s professional service capabilities and continuously work to identify relevant ways these capabilities can be positioned to serve the customer.Develop and execute staffing plans to ensure successful delivery of services.Be the focal point of Professional Services escalation within your region.Track the financial performance of services and make suggestions to minimize risk and increase GP where possible.Promote and provide leadership in our core values (trust, humility, embrace change, passion and a strong work ethic, positive attitude, team player and honesty and integrity) to foster a positive work environment and high-performance teams.Provide vision and direction to your team and conduct strategic planning.Provide management support of your team and function.Provide regular and ad-hoc financial and operational reporting as needed.Continually analyze the business for process improvements and new pensationCertain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $175,000.00 to $200,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
