OverviewJoin to apply for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer role at Actalent.As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead quality activities that ensure custom manufactured and fabricated assemblies meet design intent, functional requirements, and customer specifications. You will be a technical leader for GD&T and measurement practices, support the Quality Management System (QMS), manage PDM/drafting process improvements, and play an active role in shop/fabrication inspections, prototype testing, and supplier quality.ResponsibilitiesLead quality activities to ensure that custom manufactured and fabricated assemblies meet design intent and functional requirements.Act as a technical leader for GD&T and measurement practices.Support and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS).Manage PDM and drafting process improvements.Participate actively in shop and fabrication volve in prototype testing and supplier quality assurance.Essential SkillsProficiency in manufacturing engineering and continuous improvement.Extensive experience in quality engineering and Six Sigma methodologies.Advanced skills in GD&T, FEA, and project management.Capability in process improvement, validation, and quality control.Experience with SPC and quality assurance in manufacturing/fabrication environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor/'s degree from an ABET-accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.5+ years of relevant quality assurance or quality engineering experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments.Proven skills in GD&T and drawing interpretation for complex assemblies.Master/'s degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (preferred).Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.Certifications such as ASQ CQE or CSQE, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt (preferred).Work EnvironmentThis position is based in an onsite office environment. The role involves collaboration with various departments and hands-on engagement in shop and fabrication settings.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Plymouth, Minnesota.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $130,000.00/yr.
