The DE is responsible for supplying cost-effective and reliable equipment systems that support sales of Water Treatment and Pulp & Paper Chemicals. The scope includes managing the entire lifecycle of equipment projects: system specification, design, construction oversight, field installation, equipment start-up, and troubleshooting with post-installation support. This remote position is the primary equipment liaison for the NA commercial team, and operates with limited supervision.ResponsibilitiesProvide the required support for the field sales force to correctly specify, install, and operate chemical handling and dosing equipment systems.Work with mechanical equipment such as pumps, piping, filters, tanks, flow controls and flow measurement.Work with electrical systems and distributed controls systems (i.e., controllers and PLCs).Collaborate with outside vendors for outsourced construction of equipment systems.Participate in projects to develop equipment for new products and applications and optimize existing offerings.Provide training and technical information to help improve understanding of equipment technology to peers and commercial teams.QualificationsEngineering Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or relevant commensurate experience in lieu of degree.4+ years of experience in the design and application of equipment for specialties such as chemicals, Pulp & Paper, and/or Industrial Water Treatment (e.g., boilers, cooling towers).Experience in equipment fabrication supporting IWT / Pulp & Paper operations is considered.Able to understand customer value drivers, serve as an expert for a product line, and recommend design upgrades to improve offerings.Available to travel up to 25%.Location & Employment DetailsLocation: Wilmington, Delaware (remote-friendly)Employment type: Full-timeSeniority level: Not ApplicableSalary range: The expected compensation range is between $91,800.00 and $153,100.00 plus discretionary bonuses.
