This position is located in Baltimore, MD.What You0;ll Get To DoThis individual will lead a cross-discipline engineering team typically greater than 10 people for a medium to high-risk project and interface with Engineering & Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance.Roles & ResponsibilitiesLead and direct cross-functional engineering teams during proposal, design, manufacturing, and delivery phases of products in development and production phasesSupport proposal development and new program acquisition effortsInterpret statements of work assigned by program leadershipDevelop and execute to project budgets and schedules, including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), critical path management, Estimates-at-Completion (EACs), and workload forecastsInterface with functional departments to secure team staffingWork with suppliers and be able to articulate project requirementsBrief internal and customer leadership on progress of work assignedPerform in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings. The selected candidates are expected to be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented and possess effective verbal and written communication skills.“This position is contingent on funding/contract award.”Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a STEM related field and a minimum of 12 years related experience or a Master's Degree in a STEM related field and a minimum of 10 years related experience or a PhD Degree and a minimum of 8 years related experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.U.S. CitizenshipMust have a current/active Secret Clearance. Must be able to obtain special program access. Secret clearance is required to start. Must be able to maintain this level of clearance and special program access for continued employment.6 years experience as Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, Technical lead, or other leadership role in a program office or business function with demonstrated team building, organizational, and interpersonal skills6 years experience in the development of complex RF or Digital systems and sub-systemsStrong understanding of the Design, Manufacturing or Test process6 years experience with developing and executing project schedulesPreferred QualificationsActive and current Top Secret government clearance a plusPMP certification a plusExperience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) managing Earned Value Management System (EVMS) projectsProven Experience in the IPT Lead role.Experience in development of complex RF or Digital systems and sub-systemsPrimary Level Salary Range: $163,200.00 - $244,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
